CliqWord combines the sophistication of text composition with the simplicity of
word processing. It has formatting capabilities that rival those of a typesetter, yet is
simple to use. Adjustable windows enable multiple documents to appear on the screen.
Advanced integration with spreadsheets and databases can be enabled with a few keystrokes.
Records Processing (mail merge) facilitates the processing of virtually any data file -
created by virtually any program - for a production of a variety of repetitive documents.
The Status Lines on the Text Editing Screen Provide the Following Information:

Doc: The name of the current document. Only the last 11 characters are displayed.
Ext is displayed if the file is external (ascii).
-
Page: The current page within the document.
-
Line: The current line number.
-
Pos: The current position of the cursor on the line. Note that line and position
counters may be turned off.

Format: The number of the format valid for the current cursor postion. See
"Formats"
-
Font: The number of the font style currently in use.
-
Mode: The current mode of operation - normally Insert or Typeover.
Other modes of operation include Copy, Delete, Draw, Mark, and Move. For
text attributes, a one letter abbreviation displays after the Mode when the cursor is
within a block of the enhanced text.
Control of text and other operations is provided by pull-down menus invoked by Function
Keys. The standard menus are: File, Code (for text positioning), Attributes,
Goto,
Command, and Format. See "Online
